Project Accountant (m/f/d)

Description

For our client we are currently looking for a Project Accounting Specialist to join the local Project Accounting team. In this role you will be responsible for project accounting activities: - Ensures correct Cost Breakdown Structure coding is utilized for requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and for internal man-hours booking - Invoice processing to include detailed reviews, investigating billing issues and identifying overages ensuring contract terms are adhered too - Ensures timely release of invoices for submission for payment - Works in coordination w/ Accounts Payable Shared Services Center - Acts as Unifier System Administrator and provides adequate trainings and support for users - Assists in month end activities (accruals, vendor reconciliations)

Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and P2P. Preferable to also have experience being part of a team cost controlling on large scale projects and project experience in general - Highly analytical with strong attention to detail - Communicative person able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment - Able to deal with Ambiguity - can conform to shifting priorities, and demands - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment - Strong written and oral communication skills - Familiarity with project management software in the area of cost controlling (Unifier or similar), SAP and Excel
